The Australian mammal's incubation period is about 2 months. The temperature of its natural habitat is just around 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit. The lifespan of this hopping vertebrate ranges from 6 to 8 years. The Kangaroo's average weight is around 200 lbs.

1. The name kangaroo comes from an aboriginal language and was really a misunderstanding, so the Grey Kangaroo was called "Gangurru".
